Hi, could anyone help please?
my mom has a lease car (in her name) and got the VE103 certificate (car on hire) I am named driver, planning on a short trip to the EU in the summer. Mom isn’t able to come with me, just wondering if that’s okay? My first time doing this, I’ve read online the VE103 gives permission to the driver to drive abroad. Could someone help me clarify this please? Just want my journey to be as smooth, hassle free as possible.

Ive driven all over Europe many times and have never been asked for proof of ownership. The gov.uk website says all you need is that certificate so surely that’s fine, as long as you’re named on it.
