Best value fancy restaurant in London?

Looking for a restaurant for DS’s 18th bday in London.
We’ll be a party of 5 so it could get very expensive!

He likes most cuisines. Loves steak but realise this will be super expensive!

I think you can’t go wrong with the Delaunay.

Or Brasserie Zedel if you’re trying to keep costs down - still feels fancy

Came to say Brassrie Zedel, lovely, you’ll get a great steak and not mad expensive.

Benihana is fun as they flame cook your food in front of you. It’s quite a show!

Try Cafe Murano for Italian.

I think Hakkasan would be a fun place to go for an 18th birthday. It's not cheap but they often have offers if you are willing to go earlier. Food is lovely - very posh Chinese. Go to the original in Hanway Street.
Or Circola Popolare - very instagrammable. Food is nice (although not the best I have ever eaten) but again very fun place for an 18th.
If he definitely wants steak - maybe one of the Hawksmoors? I always like the Air Street one for its Art Deco vibe. Brat in Shoreditch meant to be very good for meat but I have never been (and it is very expensive).

Also came to say The Delaunay or Brasserie Zedel. Maybe Sketch if you've got an 18 year old on the quirkier or artier side.
