Self catering near Windsor - any ideas

We are planning to go to this area in August for a week - to go to Legoland, Windsor and to visit family in Harrow and Hampton Court area - I am really struggling to find anywhere to stay - requirements are self catering as we have a 14 month old and a 6 year old fussy eaters, and dont want to have to eat out every night - so no travellodge type places - dont mind caravans, etc - want to be around half an hour or so from Windsor.

We are from the north west so this area is new to us - google has not given much options!!!

Erm, I think Hoseasons have somewhere over the border in Surrey - not too far from all what you said.

I have looked into that too recently and found absolutely nothing. You'd think there'd be loads.

Have you googled on holiday rentals windsor.

I found this place:

Eton

Have you thought about a houseboat? It would be quite cool to go from Windsor to Hampton Court.

I cant believe that there is so little available! Maybe everyone stays on hotels around there!! I have found a caravan site which has availability but we have had to change our dates now due to my husband being soo slow to book his hols - we have known that the childminder was off these two weeks for two months - and now he is moaning that we cant have two weeks off as a family - quite frankly one week sill be enough for me!!!!!!!!!

Am new to this website so bear with me, it may be too late for you to see this message but we have booked a week in June self catering about 20mins from Legoland, in a village called Hurley.
The actual address is Hurley Riverside Park, Hurley, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 5NE.
We are staying in a three bedroomed holiday home with private fenced gardens. We couldnt face the thought of a hotel/travel lodge for a week and this was the only place we could find, looks lovely and peaceful right by the river Thames with loads of grass areas for picnics and playing. Hope this helps
