Teignmouth, anyone been? Looking for medium size town in Devon.

Hi there, taking DS 13yrs away in the summer so looking for a small to medium size town so that he can wander but not go too far. Looking for amusements but don't want somewhere as big as Bournemouth.

Needs to have sandy beach and more to do and thought Teignmouth might fit the bill. Anyone been or live there?

I have been twice, both times just for the weekend. The town is nice, plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants and arcades. I think it would suit your trip with a 13 yr old. It is not so big that you could get lost there, but plenty to do and a nice sandy beach.

How big is Dawlish? Enough to do for my 13yr old? Need amusement arcade.
