Shrewsbury pub restaurant recommendations

Iv never been to the area, looking for some recommendations of nice pubs with lovely food!!

Can anyone suggest any? Looked on tripadvisor but so many options!

Hickorys is always lovely food.

The Armoury is well known for this. Lovely place

Another vote for The Armoury. We go every time we visit. The food is amazing!

Out of town a bit, I would recommend The Haughmond at Upton Magna.

I like the Floro Lounge. They cater for my allergy and let the DDog in too.

Out of town there’s Mytton and Mermaid or The Corbet Arms

House of the rising sun, lovely fusion food and next door to the Libertine which does the best cocktails in town.
