Does anyone know if there is there an easy walking route to the Anglesey barracks on Dinorwic quarry, and where would be best to park please? We are not hikers but would love to see it. Thx

this route is better. Park in Llanberis where there are ample cafes for a nice bite to eat afterwards.

there is parking in Dinorwig but its at the end of the road with limited spaces. Its not a designated place and people do park dangerously and piss the locals off and buses cannot go through

Thanks very much, I've walked this route before but unfortunately the steep bit through the woods wouldn't be possible for me now, was hoping for an easier route

There’s only 2 proper parking spaces at the Dinorwic Bus terminus, although people seem to be parking on the road. It’s a short and easy walk to get to the quarry and viewpoint from there but you won’t get to the barracks unless you walk down steep steps and then back up again.
