Group Holiday - ideally separate - 1 hr from Bristol

I'd like to organise a group holiday for maybe 4-6 families (3-4 person families and a dog each) not too far from Bristol. Maybe 1hr or 1hr 30 drive as some don't want to travel far.

Most of the families have dogs so want to stay separately but in an ideal world it would be nice if there was somewhere we could all get together to celebrate.

Hopefully someone out there has some ideas as I'm stumped!

Forest Holidays in the Forest of Dean. There’s an on-site restaurant, bar and café where you could all meet up, lots of space for the children to go and explore, and it’s really dog friendly.

Thank you, I think I’m going to look there just for my small family.

For the celebration I was thinking somewhere smaller like a group of cottages rather than a holiday park but that does look absolutely lovely

we've stayed here before - each cottage has a hot tub, en suite to every bathroom and onsite indoor pool.

they can even set up one of the cottages to have more tables/chairs so you can all have meals together.

Closer to 2 hours but a great set up for multiple groups!

Thank you, that looks like a definite maybe, I’ll check with the others to see if the distance is ok. They look lovely.
