Where to go-27 to 30 December

I’m looking for ideas for where DH, DS(11) and I can go in England between Christmas and New Year.

We want something active-ish. Could be a city break or walking. Not Centre Parks as I’m taking DS there in July.

If it were me, I’d do a city break in case the weather is foul. York, Bristol, Manchester and Birmingham all have lots that would appeal to an 11yo.

I think you’re right @Forgottenmyphone . We’ve never taken DS to Manchester and DH has relatives there too.

When I took my DS to Manchester, we did Chill Factore, Legoland discovery centre, Nerf Action Experience, Junkyard Golf, Science and Industry Museum and the National Football Museum.
