We are going here later this month:

Unfortunately I can't tell you yet if it's any good or not! Dog, horses, play area, swimming pools etc. but not a working farm.

I have just returned from

torridge house cottages

and the DCs have spent a fab week bottle feeding lambs and generally playing farmer.

It was our 3rd visit, we love it! We stay in Hen cottage, but as there are only three of you Hay or Lin are very economical.

They have loads of ride ons (little tykes type cars), and indoor play room with a sandpit and an outdoor swim pool, nearby is bike hire (inc trailors) for the Tarka Trail, Instow beach, Appledore, Clovelly, Fremington Quay, The Big Sheep, Minature Pony centre (50 mins but well worth the drive) y DC (8 and 3.5) would go there several times a year by choice!

We've booked with

www.northdevonholidays.co.uk/

and we're staying in the centre of Woolacombe. It looks as if they do farm accomodation, as well.

Woolacombe is ideal IMO, plenty of rock pools to explore, paddle in etc. Tunnels Beach in Ilfracombe and Combesgate Beach (out past Woolacombe Beach, towards Mortehoe)are pretty good, too.

Definitely

north devon, bideford... with lots of things to do!!!

Don't want to get trampled on by people who've been to the other side of the river (Bideford, Westward Ho etc) but we live Woolacombe/Saunton/Croyde way and would reccomend this part over the other part although prob a bit pricier, there are reasons for that!

www.marsdens.co.uk are the local guys with all of the best cottages. Best of luck and have a lovely holiday - Tunnels Beaches in Ilfracombe are great for a sunny day out!
