We haven't been away for years dd is now 17 and I'd like to go away while she's still happy to go with us.
Can anyone recommend somewhere about 2 hours from manchester, dog friendly for less than £500 for at least a 4 night stay but not a caravan?
I've tried looking but it's a bit of a minefield and I don't really know where to start.
I was thinking lakes, North Wales or yorkshire

Both airbnb and Booking.com have a pets allowed option,

there is also a Facebook group page Really REALLY multi dog friendly holidays for dogaholics that you could join ? and submit your request
( tho some of the properties are more of a dogs allowed rather than welcome :) and if you only have one dog you shouldn't have too much trouble finding somewhere ( I have 4 hence joining the group )

Does it need to be during the school holidays?
