Centre Parcs age restrictions

Hi,

We are looking at going to centre Parcs with family members big birthday. DS will be 18 months a week later. Some activities are 18 months plus. Nothing dangerous, things like messy play & I’d be accompanying him the entire time.

How strict are they on ages? I understand for older kids doing activities like pony riding and archery there’s insurance issues but surely messy play isn’t such a big deal?

Will they ask for proof of age for little ones. When adding guest details online could I maybe just put his DOB as one week earlier or is that unreasonable? Thank you.

They aren't strict and won't ask for proof of age, you will be fine

If I remember rightly you put date of birth of children on the booking. With my children if the date of birth wasn't old enough to do the activities I couldn't book it. For example tried to book an activity that had an age limit and would only bring up the children who fitted the age criteria. All of the bookings I did were via their website. So if you can book on the website it will be fine

They ask for photo id and to try and catch out fakes they ask date of birth. Make sure you teach your 18 month baby to be ready to lie about their birthday. Anyone caught out is banished to the top of the Go Ape style climbing wall for the rest of the stay. Good luck.

I think his date of birth will be on the booking info when you book activities. Because he's 18months and not old enough his name won't appear for you to book him in.
