UK holiday suggestions

After what has felt like the longest school holidays every - I'm looking to book a break for next Easter and wondering if anyone has any suggestions please?

Requirements - We're in Yorkshire and feel like we've explored our area quite a bit so would like to travel South - would consider Wales/England. Length of drive isn't much of an issue as we will likely do a week to make it worthwhile.

Kids will be 10&6 so activities nearby to suit.

Would consider a holiday park but prefer quieter ones over large, busy ones. A small pool and park onsite in enough if there are things nearby.

A hot tub would be amazing but not a dealbreaker.

Budget of up to £800ish.

I've already spent the morning nearly booking and then talking myself out of Butlins and various Haven sites after reading reviews!

Quick edit to add that near to a beach would also be great!

I know I'm one of those annoying posters and you probably have good reason to say UK only but we spent a few days in boulogne over Easter and it was fab. Family of 4. Rented a big house and it was only £350 including Eurostar. Lovely beaches gorgeous old town and so much to do and see including biggest aquarium in Europe. And you can walk everywhere. About half hr drive from Calais.

So I can throughly recommend that

Don't laugh (too hard) at the name but my sister really rates Sandy Balls in the New Forest for families - for location, facilities and value: https://www.awayresorts.co.uk/parks/hampshire/sandy-balls/

I guess I said UK only because I was thinking of budget - this won't be our main holiday so need to keep the budget lower. I just hadn't expected to be able to get to Europe for the same price as a caravan in the UK! But I will definitely have a look, thank you!

Funnily enough, I was just looking at Tattershall Lakes, which is the same company, and I did see Sandy Balls listed! DH will think I'm winding him up!

Ah we actually went to Anglesey last summer, I agree it was beautiful!

Thanks for the input, we have booked a holiday cottage in Wales in Snowdownia.
