Scottish Pub / Hotel / Restaurant

Looking for suggestions beyond the usual 'guides' Google produces.

Want to go away for 2 nights for an anniversary break in August. We want to be 3 hours max from North Berwick.

Not fussed over pub, holiday lets or hotel but it must have:

1. Cracking food nearby or on site (think beyond burger and fish and chips).
2. Stuff to do outdoors/ indoors (bikes, walking, museum etc)
3. Budget of £150 a night max really (this might be a struggle).

Bonus if it has a pool / spa facilities / hot tub but not essential.

Kilchrenan inn nearish to oban. Amazing food, 2 nights in August 390 so a bit over but includes breakfast, 3 hours 9 minutes drive from North Berwick. Gives option of walks, water sports, trips into Oban.

That's a great suggestion. Thank you so much. If it is worth it, we might be able to stretch budget and like you say, it includes breakfast.
