I’m staying 5 nights in hotel soon and wondered what the norm was for tipping these days.
How much etc?
Room service delivery.Cleaners etc..

I would expect around 0% (usually works around £0.00)

0% expected as staff?

Maybe had a one or two pound coin to the person who carries your bag to your room - if someone does - not necessarily normal in hotel these days. Otherwise, no, I wouldn't.

So tipping is no longer a thing?

I've never tipped hotel cleaners. I'm paying for the room, that's enough!

If carrying luggage to your room I'd say a pound a bag with a minimum of £2, though can't remember the last time anyone carried a bag for me. Room service there might be a service charge on the bill so check that.
I always leave money for the housekeeping. For two nights I'd leave £5.

Thank you all.
