Hotel Ellesmere Port / Chester area

I want to visit Chester Zoo, the National Waterways Museum and the Lady Lever Art Gallery. I'll be relying on public transport.

Can anyone recommend a hotel that offers twin rooms and easy transport connections to all three? Budget is Premier Inn or cheaper.

Just email a few as sometimes they have deals on room and tickets at a better price.
Have you looked at Liverpool, loads to see and do but not sure on train links to the Zoo etc.

There’s a Premier Inn right by Bache Merseyrail station. It’s not far from there to Chester Zoo (walk, bus or taxi) and you can then use Merseyrail to Ellesmere Port station (change at Hooton) and Port Sunlight stations. There’s also a Holiday Inn right by the Waterways museum.

Holiday Inn at Ellesmere Port is very central, lovely hotel and a really great location right on the ship canal, next to the Waterways Museum. Lovely views if you ask for canal side rooms.
