Currently in North Cornwall, right on the border, can anyone recommend any places to visit with an arcade etc and some fish and chips? Thanks

I came here to say Westward Ho! too. The two arcades down at the main village are good, you have the promenade along the front for a nice walk in one direction and the pebble ridge/beach in the other. The fish and chips are excellent both from the container at the top of the slipway and the actual shop in town. lovely view if you sit for a drink in the Fairway Buoy which has just had a full refurb ahead of the season.
Can’t rate the Ho highly enough it’s our kid’s absolute favourite place.

I think Westward Ho is probably the only option round that neck of the woods. Bude is lovely, and has some great chippies, but doesn't have an arcade. I think you'd have to go down to Newquay otherwise, which is a bit of a schlep from the North Cornwall border.

Westward Hoe! was our first experience of a Pea Fritter!

Thank you all! I remember going to Westward Ho! Years ago now so will be nice to go back and take my own children, don’t fancy the drive down to Newquay and done Bude already.
