Hotel for pre-Eurostar

Can anyone tell me the best place to stay the night before taking an early Eurostar from St Pancras please? It will be me and 10yo DS.

The Premier Inn is coming up as £130 for advance paying but I’m wondering if there are better options. My only requirement is no shared bathroom.

the premier inn is very good, convenient and quiet. And kids eat free breakfast…it’s not a bad price in London for all of that. There is a travel lodge too.

Have a look at places close to underground or bus routes to St Pancras. You can get a direct bus from Southwark which is about 30mins. The ibis and Novotel Blackfriars are both good and there are 2 premier inns and LSE student accommodation.
I've also used various hotels at Russell Square including the mercure - all just a short walk.
