Travel to Cotswolds with 16 month old

HI everyone. I live in London. I would like to visit the Cotswolds for three days with my 16month old. I don't have a car. Any suggestions where the best place to stay is? (easy access from London and child friendly)

You could get the train to Moreton in Marsh. OK place to stay and you could get a fairly regular bus for days out to Bourton on the water and/or stow on the wold or maybe Broadway.
Bourton on the water would be a lovely place to stay, there's loads to do with small kids.

National express coach to Cirencester?
Plenty to do here and lots of buses to other towns/villages!
