Centre parcs - Whinfell vs. Elvenden vs. Longleat

Which one would you say with a boisterous 2 1/2 year old boy?

hes very active, loves his bike, swimming. Bigger/More soft plays and toddler friendly outdoor play areas would be a win for us!

We also wanted one with a lazy river which is why Sherwood isn’t on the list (not sure if all of these have one too)

Meeting the owl is also a must but again it sounds like all of them have this?

Elvedon is our favourite because its flattest and small enough to get round but not too small. Lots of nice walks in between chalets with fab wildlife. Whinfell and Longleat are hilly which can be tough to bike around for little legs!

Longleat has lots of play areas and they are fairly big .

I think it depends where you live, whinfell is a long way to travel if you live in the south. It was originally made by another company so is different to the other parcs. Still a nice place for a few days though.

With a 2.5yr old, I'd avoid Longleat - it's v hilly (great when kids are older though).

Elveden is our favourite and Woburn is easy to get to for us.

I'd say for that age definitely Elveden as it's nice and flat, Longleat is one massive hill and not as easy to get around, although I love the site. Owl experiences are good at both. Oh and the Pancake House at Elveden is excellent,

Thanks for the replies so far!

for context I’m in liverpool so whinfell is a lot closer for us x

As above Longleat is hilly and has a huge zig zag which is just an effort. Otherwise it's great and has the best pool I think.

Haven't been to Whinfell but Elvedon is good we prefer to Longleat because of the hills.

Thank you x

I’d go for whichever one is closest to you and then with a 2 year old consider paying the fee to stay centrally on site as that will make your life much easier.
