Birthday lunch in London

Looking for some restaurant suggestions for a birthday lunch in London.
We're travelling down from Scotland in March for a weekend for DHs 60th
We're staying in the South Bank and are going to Abba Voyage in the evening, so I thought we could have a really nice, late lunch somewhere, potter for a bit and then go to the show
But no idea where to go. Want somewhere quite chilled - we're not get dressed up people so nowhere that needs fancy clothes (or would require DH to wear a tie). We'll also have DD (13) with us, who can be a picky eater....
Somewhere Italian might be good? Or an amazing burger place? but open to suggestions.
Only other thing on the itinerary is taking DD to the big Primark on Oxford Street 😆

Circolo Popolare is by far one of the best relaxed Italian restaurants. It’s a bit of a trek from Southbank but not too far from Primark!

The Wolseley.

Big Mama Group is a mini chain that specialises in instagram worthy Italians that should impress your teen (and depress your wallet). Check out their website for locations.
Or for steak/burgers, Hawksmsoor is really good (also a small-ish chain and has some quite beautiful spaces).
Very few places require you to dress up these days.

The Wolseley.

I was going to say this too.

Hawksmoor looks like it would great for DH - but not so good for me - forgot to say I'm a veggie!
but wolsley look good - done suppose anyone knows if jeans and converse will be ok for DD to wear? their dress code says 'smart trainers'

I'd ring them to ask. It’s felt relaxed whenever I’ve been.

We like San Carlo Cicetti -

You'd need to book.

I love Cichetti too! Relaxed enough that you can wear jeans and trainers but lovely venues inside and amazing Italian food. Lots of sharing plates but you could also just order for yourself!
