London with kids

We live in kent close to a train line that takes us directly into London (London Bridge / Charing Cross) kind of way

We don't often venture into London with the kids but there's SO much to do and we've exhausted all our local options so looking for new things to do with the children

For reference they are 3 and 11 months so I guess the 11 month old doesn't really count here 😂

Ideally I'd like to avoid tubes as they get so busy and navigating that with two kids sounds like hell. Happy to walk distances - we have two pushchairs should we need to take one for the eldest.

Money isn't the end of the world but if there's cheaper things to do that would be fab.

What's your go to London activities that are kid friendly? :)

The London Aquarium on the South Bank by the LondonEye?
Natural History Museum in Kensington is always popular with children. Trafalgar Square and the Lego Store in Leicester Square.
A boat ride down the Thames?
Hamleys in Regent Street.
As you say, there is a lot to do but I’m not sure how much is suitable for a 3 year old. They will probably just enjoy riding on a bus.

Golden Hinde near London Bridge. They do interactive shows on the ship for kids. It's close to Borough Market for a range of food.

You could go up Tower Bridge by lift. It has a glass floor so if you time it at the same time it opens, you can watch the bridge come up through the glass floor
