Best place to park and get train to Excel

Coming from the Midlands with 2 kids on a Saturday in Jan to an event at London Excel.
Cannot afford train tickets from where we are - is there a train station with parking nearby-ish? Thanks.

Why don't you just park at Excel? It's a pretty straightforward drive there.

@HundredMilesAnHour Is it? That would be fine then. Last time I drove to somewhere in London (not Excel) we had a bit of a nightmare with strange junctions, one way streets, traffic etc and was a little concerned about history repeating itself!
Thank you

@Iknowtheyareusefulstorage From the M25, take the M11 into London. This will take you on to the A12 southbound (junction can be VERY busy but just be patient and it'll be fine) which takes you towards Canary Wharf / Docklands. Excel is only a few more minutes drive from there. It's pretty straightforward. Watch out for speed cameras on the A12 (limits varies between 50 and 40mph).

@HundredMilesAnHour Okay, I'll do that. Thank you for your advice

It is straight forward. Just be aware it's £25 to park at the excel for the day. Although once you've parked and got the train from somewhere else it's probably not much different.
