Manchester hotel

Looking for recommendations for somewhere nice to stay the night in or near Manchester after taking my son back to uni. With parking please!

I like the midland hotel (no idea on prices though!). They don't have a car park but when I last stayed they would take your keys and park the car and then deliver it back to you in the morning.

That was probably 3 years ago so things may have changed!

Gotham - fab hotel and has valet parking!

The Edwardian or Lowry are both nice

Forty Seven looks really nice and reasonably priced too

The Hilton Garden Hotel at Old Trafford (cricket ground) is great and not too expensive. The pitch side rooms all have a balcony and the tram into Manchester goes from about 150 metres away. More parking than you could ever want if it's not a match day!
