Borough Market....is it Christmassy?

We and our 2 teens are coming up to see the matinée of A Christmas Carol at the Old Vic next week and are staying the night in Southwark.

The first night we plan to go see the lights in Piccadilly, Fortnums etc and the next morning maybe go to Borough Market as kids are keen foodies.

Have been before but never at Christmas......

It will be crazy busy. I'd get there early or late. I wouldn't say it's especially Christmassy. I think there is a market along the South Bank though

Yes, it’s decked out with lights and decorations, some traders wear Santa hats and it’s not unusual to find a busker playing Christmas music. You can find mulled wine, hot cider, hot chocolate, mince pies etc… (the best pies are at Bread Ahead!).
