York city centre recommendations with 6month old baby

Looking for buggy friendly walks in the city centre and recommendations for things to do/see and eat out with a 6month old in tow! Many thanks

There’s a nice riverside walk. You could start from Scarborough Bridge and take the western side of the river along Terry Avenue to Rowntree Park which is well worth a small detour. The cafe in the park is baby friendly. You can then cross Millennium Bridge and head back up the eastern side of the river until you get to the Museum Gardens.
The National Railway Museum is pushchair friendly and has a few baby changing areas. The cafe in there is great.

Bettys feels like a posh cafe but is actually really kid friendly - we’ve been taking mine there since she was 3 weeks old. And their coffee and cake is amazing if fairly dear.

@Weepingskies thanks for this! I have read this many times online, how child friendly Betty's is! Although I had kind of dismissed it, as it gets so busy ? Definitely going to try and fit this in... we're visiting on a Mon and Tues, so might be lucky on the queue front ?

I always think Betty's over rated, Brew and Brownie near the monster is lovely for coffee, the food is also great and obviously the brownies!
