Things to do near Chessington

I'm taking DS to chessington next week and staying in their hotel the night before as we live a few hours away.

Is there anything decent near there that we can do before checking into the hotel for the night?

Chessington is not far from Epsom, so lots of restaurants and a cinema. It's about a 10 Minute drive ( if that)

Hobbledown country farm - depending on kids age. Owl flights, adventure playground thingies, animals.
Go Ape is attached to chessington as well, my boys loved it last summer.
If the evening,then Epsom has good restaurants

Hampton Court is only a 20 min drive from Chessington

Thanks for the ideas. DS is very into history at the moment so he's decided hampton court palace.

Also thanks for the tip about restaurants in epsom. I hadn't thought about food and I bet food at the chessington hotel is rubbish.
