Manchester - Travelodge

Hi all,

We're going to Manchester this weekend for the Halloween Festival and to see Fall Out Boy. Been to Manchester plenty of times, however last month we went to London to watch a football game and stayed in a Travelodge. We had a nightmare. Basically, they had no rooms left and we got shipped off to outside of London. Check in was anytime after 3pm. We eventually arrived at 3:45pm after train delays. So only 45 minutes after 3pm.

We are staying at a Travelodge again in Manchester (pre-booked before the London incident) and now very anxious it will happen again. How common is it for a Travelodge to ship you to another hotel?

Can't get a refund unfortunately. To be fair all going to plan we will be in Manchester for 12:50, and check in is at 3pm. So hoping nothing goes wrong this time.

I’ve never had that happen and I’ve stayed in travelodges millions of times. Stayed in one in Braintree Sunday night, no problems.
