Had a look at their website and quite impressed with the prices for some of their family holidays.

Wondered if anyone had been or even if you have just sent the kids what was the experience like?

My ds1 who is now 16.5 has been twice on his own with friends.

Really enoyed it the first time but found it boring the 2nd time.

1st time one of the leaders was snoging one of the girls so would thnk about that.

OOh I can belive that though as some leaders are barely older than the kids themselves. Not impressed with PGl's reputation for kids holidays, but wondered about the family ones.

Had thought about a family holiday but had the dd's instead. Will not be sending the dd's on a pgl hol.

I wonder why?

I got offered a summer job with a similar company that also do day camps for nursery age kids, they get picked up localy each day. I was offered the position of nursery leader, meaning I was in charge of all the little kids, junior staff and had to get them to all the activities inc swimming and rifle shooting plus make sure they were all fed etc. I was 19 and straight out of college FGS. I turned it down because I elt it was far too much responsibility.

think this leader was 19 or thereabouts, had the kids having a "party" after hours and had a girl sitting on his knee etc.

scary stuff eh?

Is a bit.

I worked at a centre where the staff of volunteers were all age 15 to 20 so very similar ages to the kids. But you don't expect the leaders to act like that.
