3 night break between Xmas and new year.. North/Scotland

Birthday in between Xmas and new year… had looked at abroad but trying to shoe horm in between family commitments is exhausting..: so U.K.

ideally somewhere north of Chester but South of Aberdeen. Open to luxury hotel in town/city or amazing cabin/cottage in the middle of no where with hot tub. Or something in between. Not Glasgow or Edinburgh city as live/work there.

am looking and looking hit it’s so hard, especially as lots of places have limited availability or are closed then.

I’ve stayed at all of these bar Cromlux and Gleneagles… both coming in at &700 a night ish on the dates which is mad… 😂

What about Auchrannie on Arran (if you can get to Arran what with the ferry situation)?

Marine North Berwick has a nice spa although room wasn't overwhelming when we stayed, but that was a few years ago.
Fairmont St Andrews is within budget on booking.com.
