Where to stay in Liverpool?

Can anyone recommend somewhere to stay in Liverpool. Just looking for a comfy base where we can have breakfast and somewhere central as we'll do everything on foot. It's just the two of us.

Stayed here recently, we self catered or ate out but could have meals there. Great location, easy accessible, it was very quiet yo say it was school holidays in the middle of a big city. Staff were lovely and helpful.

The Atlantic Tower Hotel is right opposite the Liver Building, and you can walk to pretty much everywhere. It's a large, 3 star, chain hotel, with great views, buffet breakfast and friendly staff.

I love a premier inn, Liverpool one on hannover st.

The Hilton is pretty central, right next to the bus/coach station and Liverpool One.

Liverpool is that small that anywhere will be fine. If you fancy a treat Hope Street Hotel. On a street lined with lovely restaurants and a 10 minute walk into town. Hotel indigo is lovely also.

It can get really busy so book soon….the premier inns are all good locations.

Hotel Indigo was really nice with quite quirky rooms. Pretty central to everything.
Or as pp suggested Premier Inn on Hanover St, right opposite Liverpool 1.

We stayed at the Shankly. Lovely!
