Waterloo station hotel recs, please!

Hi, we're flying out of Heathrow, but want to spend a couple of days in London beforehand. Our train will come into Waterloo station and we'll have quite a bit of luggage so do not want to walk too far.

Which hotels will you recommend near Waterloo?
I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed.
Travelodge or Premier Inn?
Would they be fine? Which one?
Do I splurge a bit and get something nicer or will we pay 200 quid more and the experience will be quite the same?

We'll be traveling with a toddler and baby.

County Hall Premier Inn is very good - I was really impressed with the service especially how the breakfast buffet dealt with a lot of people! There’s a good play area right next to it too. Not the cheapest PI but worth the money.

I stayed in Hampton by Hilton Waterloo a quite few times and quite liked it. used to include breakfast but not been for a while. It's 5-10 mins from the station.
