Good walks book for car-free household - SW +/or S Wales

I'm looking for a book with some (needs not be loads) walks in SW England and/or S Wales, with at least some accessible by train/bus. Pubs optional! The main thing is to have public transport access considered for some, if not all of them.

The old 'Walkers Britain' guides used to at least suggest which bus etc, but I think they are pretty out of date now. And they were chunky and covered the whole of the UK which meant you'd be lugging Argyll with you every time you took a stroll in Kent...

So hit me with something you actually use!

It’s not a book but I use the carfreewalks.org website - much better on desktop/laptop than on mobile though. I usually save the walks as a pdf and look at them on my phone that way.

Oh thanks @cherryassam that looks great, I will definitely have a look.

Bit tricky to wrap up a website and give it to someone for their birthday though, so still on the lookout for a book! :D

Ah yes I can see that would be an issue!

The Short Walks Made Easy series by Ordnance Survey often have good public transport info - not sure if there is one for the area you’re looking in.

Thanks @cherryassam , sadly not the areas I wanted. Map subscription is an interesting idea @Muchtoomuchtodo , I'll look into that!
