It’s a big birthday next week for me and DH and I had a trip to London booked but I’ve been ill and not really feeling up to all the traipsing around it would entail. We went on our summer holiday to north Norfolk with the children and loved it, it’s not too far away from us either. We only have one night of babysitting but they’re coming early and staying late the next day so ideally I’d like somewhere we can have a lovely walk with nice views and take it as easy as we’d like. Somewhere with somewhere good to eat close by would be great too. I’ve looked at the Blakeney Hotel but they’ll only let you book a 2 night stay at the minimum on a weekend. Any recommendations would be great as I don’t really know where to start looking.

Bit of a Chelsea-By-The-Sea cliche, but

The Hoste Arms | Hotel & Pub in Burnham Market

Cley Windmill B&B in Cley Next the Sea is gorgeous.

The Pheasant Hotel in Kelling is a nice country house hotel but we found it wasn’t hugely our style. The same group also has The Manor in Blakeney which we haven’t stayed at but would be another option.

@RoseAndRose that looks amazing! I drove through Burnham Market a few weeks ago to take the kids to Holkham and it looked absolutely heaving. It looked so pretty though. @LiquidGlee I tried the Pigs as I’ve had friends stay there who love it but it’s fully booked, I’ve emailed and asked to be put on the cancellation list but won’t hold my breath. @cherryassam we stayed at Kelling Heath on holiday and the area is so beautiful, we’ve already booked to go back next year. But @RoseAndRose I think the fact that place has a cinema will make anything else hard to beat! It looks fantastic thanks so much for the recommendation
