Weekend break for family with teens for big birthday

I am looking to book a weekend break for 2 families with 2 children each aged between 11 and 16. It's for a big birthday and I'd love some luxury for the adults, maybe some activities for the teens and a beautiful location.
Budget around £500 per family and location in the south west.
Any recommendations?

Depending on time of year the Family Suites / Beach Suites / Beach Lodges at Carbis Bay might be in budget and might suit - great watersports centre if the teens would be into that, but otherwise not a ton of specific teen things to do on site, other than the beach.

Bovey Lodge is another hotel that might fit the bill.

Would you prefer a hotel / resort or self catering?

Thanks, we are all into watersports so that sounds promising. I think a hotel for a total rest 😀

The Imperial Hotel in Torquay has an indoor pool, great views and is next door to a fabulous sea life centre.

Watergate Bay Hotel is also great mix of luxury, relaxing and activities - mainly surfing / swimming based. But might be over budget
