Good morning 👋🏻

First time poster, so please bear with me!

Long story incredibly short, I'm predominantly a lone parent (DH works abroad) and my friend has offered to have my DC for an afternoon and overnight. She lives 2hr away and I'm dropping off DC. I decided to book a Airbnb (cottage on a farm) half an hour away, save my petrol and the two round trips of 4hrs. So I have a one night stay, child free, but I will have my dog with me!

Here comes the advice ask.... What do I do on my rare evening off? It's been so long since I've had an evening to myself, that my brain has gone blank!

A walk followed by tea in a dog friendly pub . There seem to be lots now . In the evening just chill, leisurely bath and a good book maybe.
