We are travelling to Tintagel castle, I have become a member of English heritage, I read few reviews and learnt it's not safe for children as lots of steep walks etc. Please tell me your experiences

I think you'll be ok, you just need to keep little ones close and keep an eye on them. My daughter had just turned 5 when we first went and it was fine. If the steps get too much you can carry them for a bit?

It's perfectly safe. It's a cliff-edge castle, so of course you need to watch them - but no more than any other walk by the coast.

As above , it’s not the sort of place to let them run wild and take your eyes off them , but no reason why you can’t take a 4 year old there . Just walk the bits you can all manage.

It’s not unsafe but there are steep steps. The bridge is great and makes it much easier. Just hold hands on the steep bits and it will be fine.

I actually went to Tintagel as a baby and my dad let go of my pushchair and I went off down the massive hill and tumbled out at the bottom.

so don’t take an idiot man with you and it’ll be fine.

Thank you, I am very cautious person so from the comments we will be fine hopefully.
