Off to WMSP this week and not been before. We are not local so will have a couple of hours drive there. Do you do the drive through part first? I’ve seen online that this can take up to a couple of hours when busy. Do you have the option of using toilets before the drive through, or do we need to stop off on the way?

Any tips as to how to make the most of the day welcomed!

Once you start the drive through there is nowhere to stop as you are going from animal to animal. Get there as early as possible otherwise it can take overly long.

for the rides-get the wrist band otherwise it will cost a fortune!

it’s great though, enjoy!

We arrived about 45 mins after it opened and had a bit of a queue to get in. We began our day in the walk through part as we were needing to stretch out legs after the drive, and I had heard that the drive-round safari gets quieter later on in the day. It took us about 2 hours, but we did feed the animals. We bought 3 packs of feed and they lasted us the full way round.
(Don’t waste all your food on the first animals you come across and be careful too - aren’t shy and will try and steal the box of food right out of your lap. Their heads really do come in that far! And take hand wipes!)
If you want to do the drive through first, quickly park up in the main carpark and use the toilets there.

You have to book your arrival time for the safari now before you get there, usually cheaper in advance anyway.
It takes a couple of hours ish.
They've introduced this so that the cars in the safari are more spaced throughout the day and not rammed first thing and dead later.
Previously you paid at the booths then went straight round the safari or park up and go to the walk round bit and safari later. We often used to go round again later in the day, 2nd time was much quicker and a lot less cars
There are a big set of loos in the main car park, I'm sure you could use them before you go round though may need to queue again.
