I am being stupid about boats to Greenwich from central London - help

Looking at going from Westminster/south bank to the ' attractions' at Greenwich and it seems to be EIGHTEEN pounds return with Uber boats

I really want to do river so please don't suggest the train or DLR but have I got this right?

Seems to be right, unless you have a travelcard? That’s gone up since last time I went on it.

You use contactless and it is part of the travelcard but I’d always get the train/tube back as it’s quite slow.

This seems to be for a booked service-to guarantee your commute. You’ll just go and queue.

Sounds right. I paid around £10 for a single from Tower Bridge to Westminster earlier this week.

That sounds about right, we occasionally use it as an alternative way to travel and I think we paid around that.

Why you getting an Uber boat rather than the river bus?

Oh this sounds very nice. Imagine being able to cruise along the Thames and see all the riverbanks and sights as you float by. Obviously I would not be a commuter, and I don't live in London. So could someone tell me what RBI means please? River Boat something or is it secret code lol.
