I'm having a girlie weekend with my daughter as she's been under a lot of stress. I'd decided on Salisbury but my husband said it's just a day trip from here and suggested Totnes. It's easy to get to by train although it's a slightly longer journey than Salisbury.
We're looking for a nice hotel/B&B or pub to stay in. We also want a range of independent shops and restaurants.
Is Totnes suitable? . I'd love recommendations, Price isn't a major issue but don't want placed costing £200 or £300 per night. Also good places to eat.
