It has been 3 years, so I can't remember the name or any exact details but we stayed in a cottage on a lovely farm by Lyme Regis - used English Country Cottages.

I vaguely remember you could rent cottages from National Trust on Brownsea Island (Poole harbour), although that was a few years ago!
