What is there to do at Skegness and surrounding area?

We’ve booked a caravan at Skegness, just looking for some ideas on what there is to do in the town itself please and the surrounding area. Also what shops does it have please?

This place isnt too bad. Surrounded by arcades and stuff.

Mablethorpe is also worth a visit.

Check out the Skegness Raceway website, they have all different types of motor sport, from stockcars to Monster Truck car crushing. Kids tend to love it!

Our kids LOVED the fantasy island pleasure beach place. There was also a little kids farm just up the coast which was nice too.
Beaches if the weather is good. Swimming. I think you can buy day passes for butlins too

there are also loads of small petting zoos

Natureland seal sanctuary. Nature reserve Gibraltar Point just below the town. Quiet and remote, mud flats and sand dunes. Total contrast to town centre. Eat out at Windmill at Burgh Le Marsh. Beautiful food at pub prices and friendly to kids.

The stocks cars are really good but would recommend ear defenders.
