Major F up on passport application!

Please feel free to use the comments to call me a dumbass!!
Absolutely kicking myself right now.
I processed an application for my 4 year olds first UK passport.
He was born in the UK.
When completing the application I didn’t read properly and thought a registration or naturalisation certificate was the same as a birth Certificate. So when completing the question does he have one I selected yes!
When of course he only has a birth certificate.

They requested his naturalisation or registration certificate as supporting documents. I sent his birth certificate that of course says he was born in the uk.

I called up as soon as I realised, the man said he made a note on the application and it will be fine.
Just was wondering if I should still expect delays? Or if there is anything else I should do?
sorry if this a duplicate post as well!

I think that’ll be fine.

If the man said its fine then its fine. It shouldn't delay anything further now that he has noted the application that one isnt required.

Thank you for the advice both. I’ll try to stop worrying

I spelt my partners name wrong on my daughters passport application and it wasn't delayed - they must be able to apply some common sense / verify other ways :)
