Londoners-where best to stay for event at Wembley?

Taylor swift of course! We’ve been lucky enough to get tickets but it’s for a Thursday next August. From what I can work out the night tube only runs on Friday and Saturday. Hotels anywhere even close to Wembley are long sold out. I’ve stayed in nice places before in Covent Garden and Kensington but is that just too far out? Would I have a hope in hell of getting a taxi worst case scenario? We have hospitality tickets which include an after party so I’d love for us to be able to stay and not have to worry about transport, but I’m a planner and need to know!

Tubes run to past midnight. There is also the Wembley stadium train station which might have late trains.
I would think if there is an after party then the crowds should have left and if you book a cab in advance you should be fine. Try Addison Lee. Or you might be able to Uber if you walk a bit away.

I second the above poster. Not my area of London but there are plenty of night buses which would run from Wembley stadium. You could try looking in Shepherd’s Bush for hotels, then even a taxi wouldn’t be insanely expensive.

Where are you coming from? Might help where to get a hotel convenient for both.

If you do decide to stay, I would suggest Ealing. There are a number of hotels, guest houses, Premier Inn, Travel Lodge options. You can then either get a bus there and back (it stops outside the stadium/arena) or an Uber. I wouldn't stay in Wembley itself.

Look at citymapper. Gives an idea of what transport is available and to where and if you put in times can also tell you.

We stayed in the Premier Inn at Paddington for Harry Styles, it was great and very convenient. You haven't a hope in hell of getting a cab.

You won't get a cab. What's you're budget and where are you coming from?

Stay in Ealing Broadway and take the 483 or with a little bit of walking you can take the 297 back to Ealing Broadway too. Lots of hotels in EB, holiday inn, premier inn, travel lodge etc…
