Am thinking about booking a cottage... DD will be 20 months and we need a child friendly holiday.
Thanks

No I haven't but we had a lovely weekend at this farm www.magnachalets.co.uk/ with DD aged 3 and DS aged 2. It was quite reasonably priced as well.

thanks - but we'd quite like to go to cornwall. Thought about Bosinver but this one is cheaper and has an indoor pool. would love to hear if anyone has been....

Hi, Yes, we stayed there a couple of years back. We had a super time, easy drive to Eden project, Padstow, Monkey World, Newquay etc. Also fab bay nearby with huge beach where tide didn't come in so could stay all day and there was a reasonable tea shop there which did ice creams etc but wasn't an arm and a leg (will post again when I remember the name of it)!! Accommodation is lovely - very clean and the lady provided toys which suited my son's age at the time so that he had some thing new to play with. Outdoor sand pit and trampoline etc, ducks wandering around. She was quite houseproud and all the crockery etc was Poole Pottery which was lovely for us but a bit hairy with DS around. Owners are there but not in any way intrusive. There is a large pool built in a barn - not manned so you need to be there for the kids. I would definitely return. Pub up the lane, nice but pricey, other pub in the village, also supermarkets etc not too far away so not stuck having to eat out. Hope this helps and that you have a lovely holiday.
