If I like The Grand Hotel in York

.....where else in the UK would I like?

We recently had a trip to York and stayed at The Grand. It was absolutely fantastic, the pool was lovely, the breakfast delicious, the staff were friendly etc
Thinking about our next mini break, any recommendations for a similarly lovely hotel in any other part of the UK? We are in the south west, but very willing to travel!

King Street Townhouse, Manchester

Grand Central in Glasgow - that and the Grand in York are two of my favourite hotels.

The grand central in Glasgow must have improved since I stayed there, it’s up there in the worst places I’ve ever stayed!! It was some years ago though.

The Balmoral or Waldorf Astoria (The Calendonian) in Edinburgh

The Gainsborough in Bath

The Royal Crescent in Bath
