one night only, in or near London - quirky or cool - your recommendations requested

DC is going on a camping weekend on Saturday, back Sunday. So me and DH have one night only!
We thought we could try for a last minute hotel in or around London.
Does anyone have any good recommendations?
£250 for the night upper max limit ie The Ned not an option (sadly)

If you like a modern art vibe, CitizenM Bankside is 10 minutes away from TateModern. Definitely...um...'quirky'!

The Portobello Hotel in Notting Hill nice rooms and walking distance to the market, good shops and restaurants.
