Best way to get from London to Abergele

I'm going to be making a trip from London to visit a friend in Abergele Wales, but I'm not sure on what's the best train route should I go via Liverpool or Chester? there doesn't seem to be a direct train any help? Thanks.

I'd think via Chester would be more straightforward. Used to travel from Liverpool to north Wales a lot and needed to change at Chester.

Whichever is quickest but also at the best price (quickest is usually more expensive!)

Where you change trains doesnt matter really as long as you get there in a reasonable amount of time at a price you can afford.

Yes I agree to go via Chester. Try and get a direct train to Chester and you only have to change once I think.
