3 nights away next week - Sandy Balls or other?

Due to school strikes, we’re looking to book a last min break somewhere next week as cheaper than school holidays.

Any votes for Sandy Balls holiday park in New Forest? Some not great reviews for lodge cleanliness on Tripadvisor. Not sure where to look for alternatives - there are so many places! But many Haven-type resorts you can’t do Weds-Sat, you’re fixed for arrival days like Centreparcs.

Any recommendations much appreciated for either holiday parks or easy family hotels with a pool.

Sandy Balls is fine, stayed a few times and not had any issues with cleanliness. You could also think about maybe doing a short break at a theme park, we did a couple of days at Chessington on the last teacher strikes and it was much less busy also a pool at the hotel, also Port Lympne is amazing for a break but much more £££. We also did Druisillas and stayed in a local hotel when kids were younger.

@feliciabirthgiver great suggestions, thank you! I wanted to do legoland as my boys are obsessed but the resort hotels are booked up. Will look up Druisilla’s x

@boymum1989 we also did Legoland, we didn't stay in the resort hotel but stayed in a holiday inn which was great and had a pool. There are quite a few hotels with pools in the Slough area, and we also did a picnic and walk around Eton Dorney. I hope you have a good break.
