2 days in Cardiff - what to see, where to eat

DH and DS16, have a concert booked at St David's Hall. Staying very, very centrally. Want to walk around University area. What else should we do? Any food recs, one vegan to consider.

Stroll through Bute Park and visit the animal wall. It’s near near Cardiff Castle and you can also take a ferry from it to Cardiff Bay.
Techniquest science museum is great and aimed at all ages - not just kids. Try and coincide your visit with a talk.
There’s normally lots of good stuff on at the Millennium Centre.
Fat Hippo has a pretty decent vegan menu and The Cardiff Stable does vegan pizzas. Chance and Counters board game cafe also has some good vegan options on the menu.
