FAMILY HOLIDAY PARKS

Hi everyone,

Looking for recommendations for a family holiday park (lodge/caravan/house) in either Yorkshire or the Lake District.

Ive had a look at the Haven and Parkdean ones but I’m wondering if there are any hidden gems that may be a bit quieter?

Ideally with a playground and a swimming pool and close to family things to do.

Can anyone help?

Have a look at Silverdale

We've just got back from Parkdean Cayton Bay which was lovely (and 10 minutes walk from a big sandy beach!), but it might be busy during school holidays! It's close to the North York Moors but you might be after something a bit more hilly.

Bowland Fell

Fallbarrow is a Parkdean one and is beautiful. No entertainment though. As someone else mentioned Cayton Bay is lovely but much larger.
